The Vancouver Centre Executive
To best serve your enquiries or to request information, we have posted the duties and functions of each member of our Executive below. The Vancouver Centre Riding's Constitution is available in Acrobat (pdf) format.
President: Tim Armstrong / Email Tim
Duties: The President works to ensure the effective operation of the constituency association in all areas including administration, fund raising, representation of the party and public relations.
Vice President: Heidi McDonell
Duties: The Vice President assumes the duties of the president in the absence of, or at the request of, the president.
Secretary: Marc Speyer
Duties: The Secretary records the minutes at membership and executive meetings, and handles correspondence as directed by the executive.
Treasurer: Paul Browning
Duties: The Treasurer ensures all bills are paid according to the instructions of the executive and gives reports to the constituency executive and membership meetings.
Organizer: Carol Korm
Duties: Works closely with the President, Fundraisers and YNDs to help organize fundraisers, community forums, general membership meetings and the annual general meeting.
Fundraiser: Nicole Sequin
Duties: Coordinate with the Organizer, Candidate and others on the Executive to develop and implement fundraising activities as fully integrated components of the riding association's operations.
Young New Democrat (YND) Representatives: Danielle Kerrigan & Lena Shillington
Members-at-Large: Mischa Bartkow, Tracy Ho, Janet Hudgins, Carol Jerde, Matthew Laberee, Matt Lovick, Piotr Majkowski & Karen Shillington
Duties: Help in all aspects of the executive from helping with organizing to helping to make key decisions of the executive.
Election Planning Committee (EPC) Chair: Tim Armstrong
Duties: The chair is appointed by the Executive and chairs the EPC meetings and works to ensure the riding association is prepared for the inevitable election.
